Thursday June 26th- The completion of our original sight is almost within reach, as the roof, ramp, deck, and window/air conditioner are now complete. The only project left is the painting. As we have more people than work is left at Martha's house, we will be expanding to two little, one day jobs tomorrow on our final day of work. At Ollie's house, a previous man that we have worked for, steps will be put in, along with the roof being patched up. At another lady named Martha's house, a small wheelchair ramp will be completed. At the first Martha's house, the painting will be finished up along with cleanup. After all the hard work this week, we had a little bit of social time tonight as we went to a theater where some of the locals were playing music, known as "Front Porch Picking." After the music and fun, we took a trip the the local Dairy Queen for some ice cream. At 9, we returned to say the rosary and then had "family meeting" time, or bonding time in which we talked about the day and the plans for tomorrow. Please keep joining us as well as the Bauer's in the rosary each night at 9. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. God Bless :).

Wednesday June 25th- After a third day of exhausting work, the site is just within reach of being finished. With a couple of rows worth of shingles left on the roof and some few painting left, the site is very close to being complete. As of now, a new site may begin tomorrow or maybe even Friday, just a small, quick ramp to help another person. Tonight was an eventful night as we had many of the old people we have helped as well as Martha, the woman we are currently, over for dinner. With terriyaki chicken and regular chicken, everybody thoroughly enjoyed dinner. The picture with the goat above includes Charlie and Sue, the two that run the Auxier Lifetime Learning Center. Thank you for tuning in. Please join us for rosary at 9 if you can in prayer for the Bauer family. God Bless :).

June 24th- After a little elongated wake up call this morning, the same routine followed with a quick breakfast and a rush out to the site. Working hard for the day, the ramp is almost complete, with the deck being completely finished. There was a little work done on the roof as well as continued powerwashing today. A small amount of painting was done and will be continued tomorrow. Work and progress continue! Please join us for rosary at 9:00 P.M. as do others with the Bauer family. God bless :)!

June 23rd- Awaking early at 6:00 A.M, all the volunteers got ready to do some hard work, just what we came down here to do :). After a quick breakfast and showers for a few, Father Vince met up with us and joined us in prayer before heading out to the site. With everybody at the same sight, it was not long before everybody found work to do. All at once, five different projects were going on: power washing the house, tearing up the deck to replace the rotten boards, laying the basis for a wheelchair ramp, replacing a broken window, and fixing the atrocious roof job left half finished. After a long day of work, including help from Father Vince and his father (aka smokey, joe, or gpa), the deck was completed, along with the roof and most of the power washing. The window was also put into place. The lady we have been helping, an eighty year old widow named Martha, was excited and really happy for all the work that we could do for her today. She is absolutely ecstatic for us to come back tomorrow. After working all day, we made a quick run to the lake for a little swim, fun, and games. For all those following or checking in, please join us in the rosary at 9:00 P.M for Dave Bauer and his family. May God bless you :)!

June 22nd- After a blessing from Father Vince this morning, we set off early at 7:00 A.M. After stopping for breakfast around 10:30 A.M. and lunch around 12:00 noon, we arrived in Auxier around 1:30 P.M. After "orientation, acquaintance with the rules and daily schedule, we were quickly put to work. While some repainted areas around the Auxier Center, including posts and poles, others were sent to the grocery store to help Tina pick out groceries for the week. A third group was sent out to the SITE we will be working on for the week to unload some of the wood and to get further wood. After dinner at six, we look forward to Father Vinces coming in around 8 P.M. and a family meeting then. Around nine we will say the rosary in concordance with Andrea's family as well as many other members from the parish. You are also invited to pray the rosary at nine to join in the support. Please keep all the volunteers and people of Auxier in your prayers. God Bless :).

After a week of long, hard work in the sun, two wheel chair ramps, 1 deck with stairs, a house redone, and 1 roof were completed. The volunteers all pushed hard the last day to complete the projects assigned. As a reward, we enjoyed Dairy Queen the last night. Thank you for all your support and prayers this week. Great job volunteers!! God Bless :)!!

After another long day of working in the sun, we have retreated inside to relax for the day. After the work finished today, three sights have basically been completed. One is one hundred percent finished while two have maybe an hours worth of work to do. Our final sight, Peter and Steve's sight, has a full days worth of work to do, with the other groups hoping to run over and finish the job. After attending mass last night and celebrating Father Bob's 25th year of ordination, we are comforted to complete our work tomorrow and return home. Tomorrow night we hope to go line dancing with some of the locals and head over to Dairy Queen for some hot eats and cool treats. After a long week of hard work, the volunteers look forward to some ice cream and hopefully a dip in the lake. Thank you for everyone's support this week :) ! God Bless!!
